Six months after September 2001, GWB’s excuses for an endless “crusade” were already wearing thin.
Wondered I, “If we had more 411s, wouldn’t we have fewer 911s?”
In other words, if there is only one empirical truth, doesn’t that mean there is also only one empirically justified set of opinions, and therefore no real reason for conflict?
The challenge is, of course, is finding that truth.
